The country in which highest number of movies are produced is India. In India the motion picture industry is called Bollywood. Boollywood produces more movies than Hollywood. About 1000 movies are released every year in India. This is just the double of the output of Hollywood. The word "Bollywood" came out of Bombay (new name is Mumbai).
